Belphegor
combine Black/Death quite nicely here! There are certainly the traditional Death
Metal parts, in both the music & the vocals, but also add some Black
influence. Also, the vocals come up from the low [Deathish] style to a [grim]
screeching type thing. Well-done basic black metal with plenty of blackened
guitar riffs straight out of Mayhem's 'De Mysteriis dom Sathanas'!! Imported
from Poland (on Last Episode/Last Epitaph).

This is a
fuckin amazing band right here folks. The oldest guy in the band is 17 friggin
years old. Mixing a major older school metal feel with a bit of newer sounding
riff structures, Beyond Fatal have talent more so than the slew of newer bands
coming out. I have shown this disc to every person I know that's into metal and
they agree with me just how good this band is. The vocal style are pure death
growls and insane highs, not deep and guttural like the churning underground
seems to embrace alot as of lately. The guitar sound could have been brought out
just a hair but the production other than that is nearly flawless. Killer cd!

Imagine a
cross between Merciful Fate, King Diamond and old Slayer and you would be
somewhere close to the ball park on these guys. the guitar work is completely
off the wall like "Haunting the Chapel" with pounding drums and a King
Diamond esq. style vocal delivery, and Slayer type lyrics.
